If you’ve taken our 2020 online training, you may have noticed that LifeWise Health Plan of Washington looks a little different—more modern, more inclusive, and more confident. That’s because we’re reimagining healthcare for 2020 and finding new ways to make things work better, from the way we interact with our customers, to the way we add value to your business.
Reimagined healthcare in action
Here are some ways you’ll see healthcare reimagined in 2020, for both you and your clients.
In 2020, we’re positioned for growth. LifeWise will offer plans on the exchange in 33 counties next year, a significant increase from our current footprint. Additionally, we’re launching off-exchange plans in three counties: Snohomish, Pierce, and Spokane. These off-exchange plans are sold exclusively through producers—so if someone wants to purchase this plan, they must enroll through you.
More affordable options
In order to grow, we must be competitive. In 2020 our rates will be 4% lower on average across all plans. You can view our new rates sheets on the producer individual and family plans page: scroll down to Rate Information under the More 2020 Information heading.
More efficiencies
Starting with this upcoming open enrollment, we’re increasing operational efficiency of key areas including customer service, claims, and membership and billing. This means for January 1, we’ll have new ID cards for all individual members, along with a new customer service number, mailing address, and secure member website.
We’ll provide more details as we get closer to open enrollment to help you answer any client questions.
Increased rewards
We’re rolling out a new commission schedule that increases your earning potential in 2020.
Additionally, you’ll have access to a new secure producer website. You’ve told us you want better client management tools, so we're working on this and will share more information as enhancements are available.
