Our goal for 2021 is to provide a seamless, consistent experience for you. We’re dedicated to making it easy for new clients to enroll and for your existing clients to renew with us.

Last month, we submitted our 2021 filing with the Washington State Office of the Insurance Commissioner (OIC). Here’s what to expect from LifeWise Health Plan of Washington individual and family plans, pending OIC approval:

Counties

LifeWise will again offer on-exchange medical and dental plans in 33 counties. (View the current county map, which will be the same for 2021.) We’ll also continue to sell off-exchange medical plans in Pierce, Snohomish, and Spokane counties.

Network

LifeWise members will continue to use the Primary Network, featuring over 30,000 providers including Providence, Swedish, and CHI Franciscan—and no referrals to see a specialist.

Members on all plans (except HSA) will also now have access to telehealth services for just a $5 copay, including virtual behavioral health services.

Plans

Consistency is key! All current LifeWise plans will renew in 2021, except the Essential Catastrophic plan. (Members currently on this plan will be notified in September.)

We’re adding a new Essential Bronze plan to provide another option for your clients in the market for an affordable plan with competitive benefits.

Rates

We’ve filed for an overall rate increase of 3.44% for our metallic plans. This is subject to change and approval by the OIC.

Commission

You’ll continue to earn commission in 2021. You also now have the option to receive Automated Clearing House (ACH) deposits, so you can receive your payment more quickly.
