Beginning August 1, 2020, LifeWise is implementing updates for new and existing prior authorizations. The diabetes and asthma drugs in the table below will now require prior authorization.

How we are notifying members
This month, June 2020, Impacted members will receive a letter in the mail from LifeWise notifying them of the change. Preferred alternative drugs are available, and we are encouraging members to talk to their doctor to discuss their options and address any questions or concerns they may have.
