Since cost shares are waived for COVID-19 treatment and serology/antibody tests, it’s critical to correctly code these claims.
The American Medical Association (AMA) created new CPT lab test codes for antibody tests: 86328 and 86769. Please use these new codes when submitting a claim using any serology tests.
