New Tools to Estimate Patient Costs will be Introduced in 2022

As part of the No Surprises Act mandate, new tools will be introduced in 2022. The real-time claim estimate and submission tool is no longer available. This tool was used to estimate patient costs for medical and dental services and submit claims. We’ll include a message on the secure My Premera dashboard page as soon as the tool is available.

In the meantime, claims can be submitted by:

  • Mailing a paper claim
  • Signing up for Office Ally, a free, full-service clearing house*
  • Using your existing software to create and submit claims electronically through a billing service or clearinghouse

*Our EDI team must pre-enroll providers before they can submit claims electronically through Office Ally. To find out more about using Office Ally, contact our Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) team at at 800-435-2715.
