AIM Specialty Health (AIM) changed its name to Carelon Medical Benefits Management on March 1, 2023. This is a name shift only. There will be no changes to the way providers submit requests or the contact information to check status.
Please make note of the following changes:
- The website for www.aimspecialtyhealth.com is now www.carelon.com as of March 1, 2023.
- If you have bookmarks saved for AIM, be assured that the current URL for AIM automatically redirects to the Carelon URL. Redirects will be in place for 2 years.
- The secure portal URL, www.providerportal.com, is not changing.
The following AIM web pages are changing as well but will have redirects in place for a while, in case you have them bookmarked:
Guidelines
The guidelines website and email address used by providers to submit questions to the guidelines team have new addresses. All previous links/emails are automatically redirected to the new ones for Carelon. This information will be included in all guideline update communications for health plans and providers.
